This last week I traveled to Ottawa for the Cattlemen Young Leaders (CYL) graduation and to meet the 22 finalists for 2013. This is an amazing program of mentoring for men and women in the beef industry. As their facilitator I was privileged to direct the group through another phase of growth as we practiced stepping out of the comfort zone and engaging in the challenges of leadership. What an inspiring day it was to be in the company of the future leaders, businessmen and women, politicians, professionals and top producers in our nation. Our industry is in the best of hands. Viva beef! Viva CYL!
